 Leisure Lifestyle Swim School Terms and Conditions

Swimming Lesson Information:

  • Lessons / Course dates, times and prices were correct at time of printing. All information is subject to change with or without notice.
  • Swimming lessons are offered on a continuous programme which operates 48 weeks a year
  • Swimmers can progress as soon as the required level is achieved (no re-enrolment process)
  • Currently enrolled Swimming Lesson pupils can swim for free during all public swimming sessions, including weekends and school holidays.
  • To ensure the consistency and effectiveness of your child’s swimming lessons, every effort is made to ensure appropriate cover arrangements for instructors when they are absent.
  • Please note: the pool may occasionally be closed due to special events. Adequate notice periods will be provided

Payment Process:

  • Lessons can be paid by monthly Direct Debit (48 weeks spread across 12 equal payments)
  • Lessons can be purchased in blocks of 10 and renewed at any time
  • Lessons and courses are non-refundable

Cancellations:

  • If you wish to cancel your child’s swimming lessons you must contact the Customer Service Team: Tel; 01443 863072 Email; leisure@caerphilly.gov.uk
  • No refunds will be given without a medical certificate.
  • If you pay by Direct Debit you will need to cancel your direct debit with your bank or building society.

Application Process:

  • You may be asked to attend an initial assessment to ensure you enter the programme at the level appropriate to your ability
  • Please note once registered, lessons are bookable in person at your chosen leisure centre.
  • You can apply to enrol on a lesson at the correct level at any time. If a space is not available on your preferred day/time you will be given the option to go onto a waiting list, or if applicable you will be offered an alternative day/time or swim instructor.
  • The demand for swimming lessons is very high, therefore all applications are processed on a first come first served basis. Please use one application form per individual.
  • Payment can be made by monthly Direct Debit, or through block payments.

Use of Recording Devices
To ensure the privacy and comfort of all visitors, the use of any recording devices – including mobile phones – is strictly prohibited within the changing rooms of our leisure centres. This applies to all users, staff and visitors at all times.
